Grauballe Bryghus har lavet en rød, irsk ale. Selv anbefaler bryggeriet Red Irish både i og til de fleste kødretter og oste. Red Irish er en kraftig variant af den irske røde ale.
Nogle bryggerier har særlige kendetegn, specialiteter som de gør meget ud af at dyrke. Grauballe brygger kun øl med overgær.
Beigefarvet skum med brune toner. Det har en fin struktur og fylder og holder godt.
Red Irish er så mørk, at den ikke længere er gylden, men den er stadig så klar, at man sagtens kan se gennem den.
