Bryggeriet Vestfyen spænder vidt. De står bag en jammerlig pilsner af ringeste discountskuffe, de tapper Ale No. 16 for Refsvindinge og så har de deres egen Willemoes serie, som er spændende specialøl. Her testes Willemoes Påske Ale.
Lysebrunt, fint og meget fyldigt. Det holder ganske længe, så der er tid til at nyde skønheden.
Meget mørk, men stadig klar nok til at man kan se igennem. Lidt mørkere end flaskebrun, med fine små bobler.
Malt i store mængder. Og humle. Ikke noget specielt kendetegn, mest af alt bare: øl (måske med et strejf af koriander).
Der er ødslet med den runde bitterhed. Malten kæmper en hård kamp om at tiltrække sig opmærksomhed, og det lykkes fint. Smagen aftager hurtigt og efterlader ikke det dybeste indtryk. Det betyder på den anden side, at man sagtens kan drikke Påske Ale til maden, uden at madens smag forstyrres.
For anonym, grænsende til det kedelige, til at den skiller sig ud. Det er også et hårdt marked at være på efterhånden, så der skal virkelig noget ekstra til. Det er på ingen måde en dårlig øl, den er bare ikke noget særligt. En øl der er let at glemme. Men den er nu pæn.
